We've hit sort of a 'right of passage' in our house. About a month ago, we had a Garage Sale and sold all of our baby gear. It was emotional, but it felt good after it was over. I feel like over the past week, Tyson has decided on his own to go from being my baby to a big boy! I know that both of the boys' will forever be my babies, there is something so sad, but also very freeing to know that we are entering into another phase in our boys' lives. Tyson has recently decided that he no longer wants to sit in his booster seat at the dinner table and just this past weekend, he no longer wanted to sleep in the Pack N' Play!
Like I was saying, a bit sad, but it also feels good to know that we are officially almost out of 'baby jail'! I mean that in the nicest way possible, but we have had very, very, very small children for nearly 5 years now and the idea of being able to pick up and go a bit more freely is very refreshing!
The next step in the next week or so, is to set up Tyson's new big boy bed and take down the crib! Yes, as I am typing this, the thought of Jeff taking apart that crib brings a tear to my eye!!!! Waaahhhh!!!!
Here are a few pictures of the big boy...
