While Daddy's Away....

Jeff traveled to Barcelona, Spain for work March 3rd through the 10th. He didn't have the greatest week over there and he was very glad to be home! The boys' and I were also very glad too, but we had a pretty good week while he was away. Jeff hasn't traveled for work since Aiden was about 1year's old so, I was a bit nervous about being alone with a 4 and 2 year old for a week by myself. But, I had good help and the boys' were great. I prayed for patience and to just let things go a bit more for the week and everything turned out just right.

The weekend of March 3-4 we went to Frosty Flicks (cheap movie for kids' on a Sat morning) with Jeff and Bella Kellbach. The Kellbachs' watched the boys' for a bit Saturday afternoon. Sunday we did church and the mall for lunch and played at home the rest of the day.

I worked on Monday and Tuesday while the boys' stayed home with our college student sitter, Kim or went to daycare/preschool.

Wednesday we were all off so, we spent the morning at the Childrens' Museum and the mall with Dawn and Kate Rosevear. Wednesday night Aiden had swim lessons so, Ty and I took a swim too!

Thursday was another work/daycare/preschool day. That evening, I went to Aiden's preschool confernece while the boys' went down to the Kelbachs' again! I also got a quick trip to Von Maur in kid-free since I was so close to Sycamore Mall...ha!

Friday morning we hit the road bright and early! We headed north to Waterloo to visit the Phelp's Youth Pavilion in Waterloo, ate lunch at McDonald's, and then spent the rest of Friday and Saturday morning in Denver with Grandma Kelly and Papa.

Saturday afternoon we headed back home to wait for Daddy to return! When the boys' woke up Sunday morning, Daddy was there to greet them!

Here are some pictures from our morning at the Phelp's Youth Pavilion in Waterloo

Taking a cruise in the bus. They kept honking this obnoxious horn!

Fishing in....and out of the boat!

A little more horn action from Ty!

Aiden building his tower. He was so serious about it! (Sorry it's sideways)
